⚽ Soccer Season Information – 3rd–5th Grade

We are excited to kick off another soccer season! Here are the details parents need to know:

📅 Season: August 17th–September 24th
📍 Practice Location: Large field next to the Hines Fire Hall
⏰ Practice: Mondays & Wednesdays, 5:00–6:00 PM

We will be doing things a little differently with our 3rd–5th grade group this season. We have a large group of kiddos, so we will be keeping everyone together for practices.

We did not have enough sign-ups for our travel team, so two of those youth will be joining this age group. We are very blessed to have our Jr. High Travel Team coach, Mr. Josh Weible, willing to move down and help lead this large group!

Josh will be assisted by John Yoder and Corrinne Shroder, who both coached last year. We are very excited to have them back! They will be running different stations during practices so that all of our players can get more individual instruction and practice time.

There may be days when we are short a coach due to our coaches' other commitments. If any parents are available and willing to help run a station on those days, we would greatly appreciate your help! 🙌

⚽ No Games This Season

Instead of scheduled games, we thought the kids would enjoy pre-made scrimmages. Coaches will divide the youth based on age and skill level to give everyone a fun and competitive experience.

🌳 A Friendly Reminder

We are fortunate to be able to use the park fields through the kindness of the City of Hines. Please help us take care of these fields by picking up after ourselves following every practice and scrimmage.
