Soccer

High Desert Park and Recreation offers soccer for grades k-8th grade! Grades k-5th all play local HDPR teams. Soccer grades 6th, 7th, and 8th have a travel soccer team that plays all northern oregon teams in a EOL league. This team requires travel to Pendelton, Baker, LaGrande, and other small towns to be announced. The soccer season for k-5th Grades will begin in August 2025 . The HDPR travel team will begin in Aug. and finish at the end of October.

TRAVEL SOCCER INFO BELOW:

This will be a traveling team; parents oversee team travel. We currently play Baker, LaGrande, and Pendelton. We are working on a schedule for with the league. We will hold one tournament here that consists of double header games. We will be looking for line judges, offsides callers, and a Scorekeeper. With parent approval we will add 5th graders if the team is short. Practices will be held at the Hines Field behind the Fire Station. Please Contact the Office at 541-573-2413 with any questions. Season will be August -October 2025. Practices will be two days a week, 1.5 hours long. Practice will begin the first week of School.

The HDPR travel team will begin on Aug. 5th and finish on Oct. 11th, 2024, date depending on games.
